I have recently completed construction of a mid-infrared (5-25µm) imaging spectrometer for the Keck I Telescope - the UCSD/Keck Long Wavelength Spectrometer (LWS). I am looking forward to using the LWS for imaging & spectroscopy of active galaxies and infrared galaxies and other problems in mid-infrared astronomy.
